The City Council has authorized open burning of yard waste for the weekends of April 19-20 and 26-27 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Yard waste is limited to leaves, grass clippings, weeds, and brush and does not include tree limbs or branches.   Burning on streets, alleys or sidewalks is not allowed.  The council asks that residents burning their yard waste not leave burning piles unsupervised and to make sure fires are extinguished when done.  Please contact City Hall at 778-2615 with any questions.
